Historic, charming and brimming with southern hospitality, these four Kentucky restaurants have earned the right to be “iconic.”

Claudia Sanders Dinner House (Shelbyville): The former home of Colonel Sanders, originator of world-renowned Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Old Talbott Tavern (Bardstown): Oldest bourbon bar in the country, dating back to the late 1700s.

Beaumont Inn (Harrodsburg): Bed-and-breakfast known for Southern cuisine since 1845 and winner of the James Beard Foundation’s America’s Classics Award.
