Paducah, a UNESCO Creative City, is a hub of activity for crafters. Known as “Quilt City,” it houses The National Quilt Museum with over 320 quilts, plus activities like the annual event from the American Quilter’s Society.
Quilt Week is April 24-27 at the Schroeder Expo Center. Visitors can expect one-of-a-kind exhibits, quilt classes, lectures, appraisals, instruction, book signings, artist meet-and-greets and shopping. You can also participate in the PaDucky Derby, a rubber duck race to benefit the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center.
There is a full schedule of workshops, contests and historical lectures, plus over 150 vendors to explore.
