Starting this fall, graduate students can earn a Distilled Spirits Business Certificate from the University of Louisville – helping the state meet demand for qualified employees in the rapidly growing bourbon industry. Course credits earned in the online program count toward an MBA.
“The Distilled Spirits Business Certificate is a unique educational offering that has been designed to serve our students, the industry and the Louisville area,” said Todd Mooradian, dean of the College of Business.
This year, the Kentucky Distillers’ Association reported a state economic impact of $8.6 billion, including a $1 billion annual payroll and 20,000 jobs.
