Get ready for the future – it’s almost here

The year 2020 was once a futuristic time frame for writers and movie makers. Today, we’re less than 50 days away from that milestone.

We’re not living “Soylent Green,” the 1973 post-apocalyptic classic where humans are the only abundant protein source. And a manned “Mission to Mars” hasn’t happened.

But will some sci-fi predictions become reality by next decade’s end? Absolutely.

Flying cars aren’t far behind drones. Driverless semi-trucks will soon travel interstates. Indoor farms will supply lots of fresh veggies. Computer chips embedded in our wrists will save us from carrying cards and cash.
