Serving chocolate-y frappes out of an antique horse trailer is where you’ll find 18-year-old Tyler Rogers, owner of Far Out Espresso – a mobile cafe in Georgetown.

Food trucks are a fun staple in larger cities, but may have a future in small towns, too. They promote “lighter, quicker, cheaper” food options and capitalize on unused spaces like alleyways and empty streets, helping build the community and economic opportunity, according to Off the Grid’s Mobile Food Trends & Insights Report.

Rogers started out just catering events, and then after gaining some street cred, opened his mobile shop in May.
