Kentucky’s largest transportation initiative since the Ohio River Bridges Project has hired its design-build team.
Hall Contracting of Kentucky will deliver the $180 million I-Move Kentucky project, which includes safety and congestion improvements to some of the largest roadways in Jefferson and Oldham counties. Preparation work begins later this year on the four year project.
Motorists and businesses will see significant benefits from the widening of Interstate 71 and Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway), as well as improvements to connecting interstates in the highly traveled corridor. Utilizing the design-build approach saves time and money by combining multiple projects into one.
