Site Selection magazine’s annual “Governor’s Cup” rankings for economic development projects had good news for Kentucky, which ranked No. 1 in the South Central Region and No. 2 nationally when ranked per capita.
Kentucky cities also fared well – Bowling Green ranked No. 1 in the country for cities of its size and Danville tied for 10th in its size category.
“The inclusion of several Kentucky communities on Site Selection’s metropolitan and micropolitan rankings signifies a truly statewide focus on unleashing our vast economic potential,” said Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin. “Congratulations to each community recognized through this year’s Governor’s Cup rankings.”
