My Old Kentucky Home State Park is the newest addition to the Best of Kentucky Hall of Fame. For three consecutive years, the park was voted the No. 1 historical landmark/museum site, helping it earn the Hall of Fame honor.
When visiting, guests can tour the 200-year-old federal-style mansion, enjoy the grounds, go camping, play tennis, picnic, visit the gift shop or even play golf.
The site is also home to The Stephen Foster Story, an outdoor play complete with period costumes, dancing and music – including Foster’s famous ballad “My Old Kentucky Home,” one of 50 songs in the play.
