If you’re traveling through the Louisville area this summer, you can save money with a little planning in advance. Three of the bridges connecting Louisville and southern Indiana are tolled, and new RiverLink toll rates begin every July 1.
Drivers with prepaid accounts in good standing and transponders always pay the lowest rates. Savings start as soon as you sign up for an account, as you wait for your transponder to arrive. Another tip for travelers: If you choose the RiverLink E-ZPass transponder, it’s accepted by 29 toll agencies in 17 states.
