“I’m not voting because it doesn’t make any difference who gets elected.”
I’ve heard this sentiment more times than I’ve heard the National Anthem. And I’m dog tired because it’s simply not true. It makes a profound difference in the laws governing your actions, taxes you pay, services you receive and future of your family.
Don’t cop out because you’re: A) too busy, B) unwilling to study the candidates and their positions, C) more comfortable criticizing everyone than supporting someone.
As Election Day approaches, remember: Voting is more than a right, it’s a responsibility. Like Nike says, “Just do it.”
