Logan Street Market to open as year-round public market

Barn doors will open this August to reveal a farmer’s plaza, four restaurants and what founders hope will be a new cultural hub for Louisville.

The Logan Street Market, located in Shelby Park, will feature more than 30 vendors, chefs and artisans. Mike Safai, owner of Safai Coffee, founded the market in part to bring healthy food options to an underserved community.

The public market will feature a variety of options, from fresh produce to poultry, restaurants and retail shops, including Wild Hops brewery and Safai Coffee. The goal: to be a top food and beverage destination in the region.
