Kentucky native tops Billboard’s country albums chart

by The 100 Companies

Hailing from the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky, singer-songwriter Tyler Childers is now peaking at the top of the Billboard charts.

His new album, “Country Squire,” produced by Kentucky native Sturgill Simpson and Dave Ferguson, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in early August.

Childers has played music since his early childhood in Lawrence County, Kentucky, and played professionally for over half a decade with the Lexington-based band The Footsteps before beginning a solo career.

The artist even garnered support from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who loves listening to country and thinks you should, too.
