Apple’s newest gadget – the iPhone 11 – just hit the market, but did you know a Corning plant in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, has been supplying glass for every generation of iPhone?

Apple and Corning’s rich history dates back more than a decade, and their partnership has helped revolutionize glass and transform the technology industry with the creation of the first iPhone, according to Apple’s COO Jeff Williams.

Now, Apple is awarding $250 million from its Advanced Manufacturing Fund to Corning Incorporated to further the delivery of next generation consumer devices.

This is a partnership Kentucky can raise its glass to.
