Kentucky’s Greatest: See champion horses at Kentucky farms

Venture to these farms in Kentucky Horse Country to see some famous thoroughbreds:

Ashford Stud: Two Triple Crown winners call this Versailles farm home, including 2015 winner American Pharoah and 2018 winner Justify, who share a barn at the stud farm.

Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm: The 2002 Kentucky Derby winner War Emblem, 1997 winner Silver Charm and other older horses are spending their final years at this Georgetown farm.

Claiborne Farm: Orb, the 2013 Derby winner, and several Breeders’ Cup champs are studs at this Paris farm that is the final resting place of 1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat.
