Two rising country music stars from Kentucky have been nominated for their first Grammy Awards.

Lawrence County native Tyler Childers’ laid-back love song “All Your’n” is up for the best country solo performance at the 62nd annual awards show, which airs Jan. 26. Fellow Kentuckian Sturgill Simpson was a producer on Childers’ third album “Country Squire,” where the song was released.

Martin County’s Angaleena Presley is nominated for best country album as part of country trio Pistol Annies. The supergroup, which is made up of Presley, Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe, earned the nomination with its third studio album “Interstate Gospel.”
