The Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet is looking for a partner to design, build, finance and maintain an amateur sports complex at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville.

The park hosts thousands each year for programs like NCAA cross-country meets and the National BMX Grand Championships. The new facility would be a public-private partnership, known as a P3. P3s reduce risk by partnering with the private sector.

“This project is another important example of state government partnering with the private sector to bring new tourism and entertainment opportunities,” said Pamela Trautner with the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet.
