I-69 Ohio River Crossing

The public comment period for the proposed I-69 Ohio River Crossing recently closed, with nearly 300 residents sharing their thoughts and opinions on the megaproject. Public feedback will play an important role in decision making as the states work to identify a preferred alternative in the Final Environmental Impact Statement.

The proposed I-69 bridge would connect Henderson, Kentucky, and Evansville, Indiana. Both states have made significant investments in upgrading I-69, and the proposed bridge will be an important final connection.

Next up for the project team is considering all comments received and continuing engineering and financial analyses.
