The house that hosted Burr, now hosting ‘Hamilton’ exhibit

The Kentucky Center may be “the room where it happens” this month. But don’t worry if you didn’t get tickets to the Kentucky run of “Hamilton,” there are other ways to learn about “$10 founding father.”

Aaron Burr, “the damn fool who shot” Hamilton, visited Locust Grove in Louisville the year after our country’s most infamous duel. Locust Grove’s connection is to the villain of the story, but the historic home is doing a heroic job of explaining the musical.

A traveling exhibition on “Hamilton” runs through July 5 and a Hamilton Fest will be held on June 16.
