Situated on the banks of the Ohio River, the city will host Thunder Over Louisville on April 22, 2023. Full of activities for all ages, this celebration is known for starting things off with a bang.
In its 34th year, it is one of the country’s top air shows and fireworks displays. This year’s theme, “Through the Decades,” celebrates the generations that come together to enjoy the show.
Festivities include activities with the US Marines and Navy, 4D simulators, bounce houses, face-painting, golf, crafts, beer gardens, and food. The evening culminates with the amazing air show and an unforgettable fireworks display.
