CompMed will make $1.11M expansion investment in Newport

Kentucky company CompMed plans to bring 150 additional full-time jobs to Newport with an $1.11 million expansion of its Campbell County office, tripling its Kentucky workforce.

CompMed, a multi-state “medical billing and practice management company,” was founded in 1993. It’s now expanding to accommodate additional employee training, workspace needs and new equipment. Medical billing and insurance is a complex, growing industry that’s key to Kentucky’s leadership in the health care and wellness sector of the economy.

CompMed provides billing services for more than 25 medical specialties covering the entire range of life, from OB-GYN to hospice.
